I'm Michael — been building things on the internet since 2012. Senior full-stack engineer with opinions about things that genuinely don't matter.

Naturally, I spent my free time building another website.

No client. No stakeholders. No Jira ticket. Just a place to put things — experiments, writing, half-baked ideas, stuff I learned the hard way.

I'm a husband, a dad, a tinkerer, and the type of person who disappears into four-hour rabbit holes on things I had no business learning about. The thread that connects all of it is honestly still loading.

I genuinely don't know yet. Probably some mix of:

• Side project logs — what worked, what didn't, and why
• AI and dev tools — stuff I'm actually using
• Code deep-dives — things I've learned and gotchas
• Whatever else I'm into that week — not all of it will be tech

Some posts will be polished. Some will be rough notes I cleaned up just enough to hit publish. Both are fine.

I've always been the type to build in private — head down, ship it, move on. This site is me trying to change that. Less hiding behind the code, more putting myself out there.

No content calendar. No posting schedule. No SEO strategy. Just writing when I have something worth saying. Let's see what happens.
